All fees assessed by the university are subject to change by the Board of Regents. Every effort is made to keep the fees as low as possible while rendering the desired level of service. Nonresident fees are calculated to cover a major part of the direct cost of instruction. Eligibility for status as a resident of Nevada is determined by the Office of the Registrar (see Residency Regulations ).
